CLASS OF 2003
This year six students graduated from Antonio R. Barceló high school.
The student with the highest grade point average was Orlando Bermúdez at 3.63. Student Ana M. Monell Soto had an Honorary Mention with an average of 3.09. Orlando Bermúdez received medals for mathematics, science and social studies. Student Ana M. Monell Soto received medals for English and outstanding achievements. Kenny Rivera Munet also received a medal for outstanding achievements and Hazel J. González received a medal for Cooperation.
The graduates and their teacher, Mr. Juan A. Suárez Arzón, decided to go on a cruise for their class trip, accompanied by some parents. Following, and in their own words, are the students hopes and dreams.
Orlando Bermúdez I have already been accepted at the Puerto Rico Polytechnic University and I will obtain a civil engineering degree.
My name is Hazel A. González. My plans for the future are to study nursing and obtain my Bachelors degree at the Interamerica University in Arecibo where I have been accepted.
Kenny Rivera Monnet I have been accepted, thanks to God, at the University of Puerto Rico Extension in Humacao where I will get my degree in graphic arts.
Hello, my name is Ana M. Monell. I am a senior and when I finish school, I want to study graduate nursing and I have faith and hope that I will achieve this goal.
Carlos Acosta Antonsanti When I finish high school I plan to continue studying marine mechanics and to continue practicing sports such as basketball and baseball.
